Hey there all you pretty people, I started a blog! Just wanted to give you a quick introduction to the designer behind the brand (hint: it's me!), and what you can expect to see here in future posts.
So…my job is pretty darn special.
I get to create pretty stationery pieces that give you something to look forward to, look back on, and something that represents the celebration of your marriage. Weddings are such an exciting time in life, and it’s my honor to work with you to create the stationery that represents these special relationships. I recently got married myself, so I know how special each and every item can be when associated with your wedding, and I’m lucky enough that I can show off my own invitations in my portfolio and get to see them as often as I do!
As I've mentioned on my about me page, I'm Chelsea Burkholder, owner and lead designer of Chelsea B. Design Studio, and it is my passion to inspire women to express their individual sense of style and beauty through the designs that we create together. I believe that whether you are branding your wedding day or a new business venture, it is so important for me to be able to express YOUR unique aesthetic, and make the finished works look like you. Your wedding guests and business clients should know exactly who you are as soon as they see your invitations and your brand, and that, my friends, is my number one goal when we work together.
What to look forward to....
In this blog, I plan to cover tips on topics like finding your brand inspiration, how to use family heirloom pieces in your wedding, and just anything else that inspires you to find your pretty within business and life.
Now for the fun stuff.
Along with loving weddings, marriages, and just new beginnings in general, I also just really love patterns, gold, bright colors, and basically anything at Home Goods and Target. If I weren’t a graphic designer, I’m pretty sure I would have been an interior designer. However, I once told my mom that when I have a real house, she’s going to have to reign me in because I’ll want all of the colors in all of the rooms. Anyone else have an overabundance of “like” in their lives?
I have found that I do have different favorites to wear, design, and decorate with, and the only thing to overlap all three categories so far, is gold. It’s just so pretty, and looks good everywhere! And that’s the secret to why my logo is what it is.
